Ashley's Legacy: A Passion for Pets and Rescue

Ashley was a driven and talented over-achiever who tragically ended her life at the young age of 29. As a parent, nothing can prepare you for losing a child, especially to suicide. I found myself struggling to find
answers and direction day to day, while also losing a piece of who I was from the insurmountable grief and sadness. Ashley had a special love and connection with animals. She selflessly volunteered at shelters, and had a house full of rescue cats of her own. She had a vision to create bandanas that pet owners loved and create a quality product that spread joy to both pets and their owners.

By following through on her business, it has given me a way to feel connected with her and it ended up being a personal healing journey at the same time. I launched this business with zero experience in manufacturing, marketing, or online sales but I was determined to keep her vision alive. With each bandana sold, every heart warming message I
get from customers, and the unexpected support from customers who have also experienced tragedy, it gives me the drive and purpose to keep moving forward while also honoring her legacy. The community that is building has become a healing and support group for others, and I feel like we are starting to turn tragedy into triumph.
